Partner Spotlight: Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA)
At Crossroads Safehouse, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by community partners who lead with heart, and Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA) is a standout example. As a local electric cooperative, PVREA does far more than keep the lights on. Their mission is grounded in service, connection, and making a positive impact in the communities they power.
Supporting local nonprofits is deeply tied to PVREA’s values. “We are not just a utility provider, we are a part of the communities we serve,” they shared. That belief shows up in the way they invest in organizations that strengthen the social fabric of Northern Colorado. By supporting groups that provide critical services, advocate for those in need, and create opportunities for growth, PVREA helps ensure our communities remain strong and resilient.
When asked why they support Crossroads Safehouse specifically, their response was both thoughtful and aligned: “Their work empowers survivors and promotes safety, healing, and long-term stability.” That shared commitment is what makes this partnership so meaningful. PVREA recognizes the value of creating safe spaces and offering hope to those rebuilding their lives after domestic violence.
But their support goes far beyond writing a check. PVREA stays engaged through employee volunteerism, community events, and ongoing visibility for the causes they care about. “It’s about being present, involved, and committed to making a difference,” they said, and they truly live that out.
We’re proud to call PVREA a partner in this work, and grateful for their dedication to a safer, more compassionate community for all.
