2025 Impact Report
Together, We Helped Survivors Find Safety, Stability, and Hope
Every day across Northern Colorado, survivors of domestic violence and interpersonal abuse make the courageous decision to seek help.
In 2025, Crossroads Safehouse & Services responded to 2,169 crisis calls, provided more than 2,100 advocacy sessions, and supported 4,844 survivors across all programs.
Behind every number is a person navigating fear, uncertainty, and crisis — and a community willing to stand beside them.
Because of the support of donors, volunteers, partners, and advocates, survivors found emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, prevention education, and pathways toward long-term stability.

Shelter. Support. Advocacy. Empowerment.
Crossroads Safehouse & Services provides emergency shelter, crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, prevention education, and coordinated community support for survivors of domestic violence and interpersonal abuse.
Our work is grounded in a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach that prioritizes dignity, safety, autonomy, and access to resources.
Supporting Survivors in Moments of Crisis
Survivors often reach out during some of the most dangerous and uncertain moments of their lives.
Through emergency shelter and outreach services, advocates provide immediate support, safety planning, crisis intervention, and connection to resources for survivors and their families.
Programs like the Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) and Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT) ensure survivors facing the highest levels of danger receive coordinated support quickly and compassionately.
Prevention Through Education
Ending domestic violence also means investing in prevention.
Through Time to Talk and other youth prevention programs, Crossroads equips young people with the tools to recognize unhealthy behaviors, build healthy relationships, and support peers experiencing abuse.
In 2025 alone, 1,387 youth participated in prevention education programming.
Building the Future Through The HIVE
This year marked continued progress toward The HIVE — The Hub for Information, Validation, and Empowerment — Northern Colorado’s Family Justice Center.
The HIVE was created to reduce barriers survivors often face when navigating multiple systems during times of crisis.
By bringing advocacy, legal support, law enforcement, counseling, and community partners together in one location, survivors can access coordinated services more safely and effectively while reducing retraumatization.
The HIVE represents an important step toward strengthening survivor support across our region.
